MGF MJ1999 Fehler bei der Öltemperaturanzeige

Betroffene Fahrzeuge: MGF Modelljahr 99 (die ersten MY2000). vermutlich im Bereich VIN 511000 ... 52????. Nicht offiziell !! Fehler: Öltemperaturanzeige ist im roten Bereich (170°C) bei hohen Geschwindigkeiten. Ursache: Der duale Öltemperaturgeber entspricht nicht der Spezifikation Maßnahme: Den 13 poligen schwarzen Stecker C160 abziehen. Der Stecker befindet sich im Motorraum links neben dem Hauptrelaismodul. Das braun-blaue Kabel 60mm vom Stecker entfernt durchtrennen. Einen Widerstand 15 Ohm/ 0,5Watt dazwischen löten und mit Schrumpfschlauch abdichten.

Failure: Indicator for the oil temperature raises up to 170°C at high speed. Reason: The dual Oiltemperure Sensor does not relate to the specifications Action: Pull off the 13 position multiplug No. C160. This plug is located in the engine bay left of the mainrelais. Cut the brown-blue wire at app. 60mm apart from the plug Solder a resistor of 15 Ohm O,5Watt between this open connection and seal it with shrink tube.
