Lowering the MGF by machined short knuckle pins

Notice: take care and check the parts condition frequently, cause there could be a problem with slipped off gaiter and damage from rust later
mashined bolts are availiable at Mike Satur for reasonable costs.
- purchase second hand knuckles and machine new knuckle bolts according to drawing & sample
- The fitting is not easy !! It works best if the system is completely evacuated.
- (material: non magnetic stainless steal !)
- 1. remove rear clamp at the rubber hose
- 2. remove front pressure plate
- 3. shift bolt out of the rubberhose through the white cover to the front
- 4. remove the greasefrom the bolt
- 5. lathe new bolts or source ready made at Mike Satur ;)
- 6. use a lot of 'Dextragrease Super GP' (Molykote black with graphit?) to grease the bolt and pressure plate.
- assemble parts and fit the rear clamp
- ATTENTION ! If you rework the standard knuckles as Carl did, then take care for best protection against mud and water. fill the rubber with lithium grease and tighten the rubber on top with i.e thin stainless steal wire !!
