MGF impact with stone on the road

Guilty for this damage was a stone, looking out of a bumpy road. Find below the pictures of
a temporary unusual repair of the unusual broken gear ball joint.
This is hard stuff. Don't try to copy, but learn how the gear selection works.

Notice: The MG TF uses a shorter gear change cable. (app 139 cm long. Needs a different bell crank and gearbox bracket to fit to the MGF)
